I was induced and I was in labour for 20 hours it was so hard as the contractions start straight away and they start really strong

tiggy748, “in the uk we are striving for natural births?” bullshit, if your about to give birth and you want an epidural, i say, “GIVE HER THE DAMNED DRUGS”

it takes away the pain, and make it a lot easyer to sew up tears.

yes there are down sides like it take longer to recover and it can sometimes cause temporary paralysis, but i think its worth it.

I was induced and had a very quick labour. He was my first baby, he was 3 days early and I was in labour for 2hrs 45mins

Actualy yskdl1998, labour is NOT 100% perfect all of the time. Fancy delivering a baby with a cord around the neck, or perhaps a breech? C sections are sometimes vital to save the mum or babies life. It may be natural but if it wasnt for medical intervention labour can and still be fatal. In the Uk we are striving for natural births however we must not romantisise birth to an extent that medical intervention is “demonised”.

Having kids is more disgusting than it’s worth, haha. If I can afford it , I’m getting a surrogate so I can have my own biological child and not have to go through that crap and get fat.

  25. yskdl1998 says:

What is next, the can open for the cervix? You forgot to mention that about half of inductions en in a cesarean section. People need to know the pros and cons of all their options. The other thing they don’t mention here is that the US of A has a 30% cesarean rate but only 4-6% are needed. The other 24% are the result of so many unnecessary interventions in labor. Let’s not forget that it is a natural process that works perfectly 100% of the time.
